Welcome to the Explore & Evolve 2025 Hackathon sessions page. Below are session-specific rules and instructions for presenters, session chairs, judges
and attendees. These apply to all online technical sessions listed under the Schedule tab.

 

1. Session timings & joining:
   All session times are in Indian Standard Time (IST). Join your assigned Google Meet room at least 10 minutes before the session start for roll call and setup.
   Use the "Join" link on the relevant date tab to enter the session.

2. Presenter rules:
   Each presenter must be ready with their slides and screen-sharing enabled. Presentations should not exceed the allocated slot (see schedule). Keep your
   microphone muted while others present and enable it only when presenting or during Q&A when requested by the session chair.

3. Session chair / moderator:
   The session chair will introduce presenters, manage the queue, enforce time limits and moderate questions. Follow the chair's instructions for handover
   and Q&A. Chairs may mute/unmute participants to keep the session orderly.

4. Time limits & format:
   Typical technical presentation slots are 8–10 minutes for presentation and 2–4 minutes for questions. If your session has a different allocation, follow the
   schedule shown on the date tab. Chairs will enforce the limits.

5. Q&A process:
   During Q&A, attendees should submit questions via chat or use the 'raise hand' feature. The chair will call on attendees to ask live questions. Keep questions concise.

6. Technical checks & backups:
   Test your camera, microphone and screen-share before the session. Keep a backup device or recorded demo ready in case of connection issues. If you
   cannot join, notify the session volunteers immediately via the event workspace.

7. Recording & privacy:
   Sessions may be recorded for archival and judging purposes. If you have privacy concerns, inform the organizers in advance. Do not share private or sensitive data
   during live demos.

8. Judging & evaluation (for judged sessions):
   Judges will evaluate based on technical merit, clarity, novelty and reproducibility. Shortlisted teams may be asked to provide source links and a runnable demo.

9. Etiquette & code of conduct:
   Be professional and respectful. Abusive language, plagiarism or disruptive behavior will result in disqualification. Cite third‑party content and follow licensing rules.

10. Support & contact:
    For last‑minute issues, contact session volunteers or use the event workspace channels. Include your session ID and a brief description of the problem to get quick help.
